This statutory Committee applies the income of the Fund, which is vested in the Director of Social Welfare Incorporated as Trustee, to make grants to organizations for conducting training/training-related activities for the social workers (including social work students) in Hong Kong with the aim of improving their knowledge and skills. The Committee is chaired by the Director of Social Welfare and consists mainly of non-officials.
