In-kind Assistance for Needy All along, the Social Welfare Department and the non-governmental organizations have been providing different welfare services to needy individuals/families to enable them to prevent and deal with the problems they encountered. Besides, some non-governmental organizations and community organizations also provide different types of in-kind assistance to help the needy to tide over their difficulties. A list of the organizations providing in-kind assistance (Chinese only) is attached below for general reference.
