Promote mental wellness and social inclusion |

Promote the importance of social inclusion and organize community education activities to increase residents' understanding on the mental patients' needs, to strengthen the resiliency with positive power and facilitate the latter's rehabilitation |

Encourage the rehabilitation service units and their members to join the district activities to promote public awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities, and facilitate service units to collaborate with other organizations to implement community education activities with an aim of promoting social integration |

Facilitate different counterparts to organize activities on anti-drug theme |

Support the collaboration among different organizations in the district to implement the 'Happy Living Campaign 2011' to promote positive psychology and happy living |

Promote treasure life in family |

Echo the 'Publicity Campaign on Strengthening Families and Combating Violence' through organizing district activities to strengthen the messages of prevention of domestic violence, and to promote the theme on treasure life in the district |

Coordinate with different organizations in the district to implement the caring community education activities, to maintain and consolidate the family roles, to promote a caring and harmonious family and community |

Organize seminar on Domestic Violence for various professions so as to enhance the case handling skills and to promote collaboration among different sectors |

Care for the elders and support their carers |

Develop services for the elderly so as to further strengthen the care and support to the needy elders and their carers |

Extend the district-based Scheme on Carer Training so as to minimize the elders’ risk of falling and to promote the mutual care and concern among neighbourhood and to develop the healthy life style for elders |

Implement the Pilot Scheme on Home Care Services for Frail Elders (Wong Tai Sin/ Sai Kung) to the frail elders who are waitlisting for Nursing Home service so as to meet their nursing and care needs as well as to soothe the stress of carers |

Mobilize community resources and promote volunteer service |

Encourage the local organizations to make better use of existing funding resources, such as the Parthnership Fund for the Disadvantaged’, ‘District Support Scheme for Children and Youth Development’, etc to help the disadvantaged groups |

Encourage the corporations to participate in volunteer service, continue to recruit students, young people, families, retired persons to join in volunteer work to promote the concept of mutual help and establish an integrated community |
