Increase of social security payments Recipients of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme and Disability Allowance under the Social Security Allowance (SSA) Scheme will get revised rates of payments from February 1, a spokesman for the Social Welfare Department said today (January 22).
An increase of 0.4 per cent in the standard payments under the CSSA and Disability Allowance under the SSA Schemes to take account of inflation was approved by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council on December 16, 2005, Details of the revised standard payment rates under the CSSA Scheme and the Disability Allowance are as follows: (A) CSSA 1.
