Welfare payment during public holiday in July

     Recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance whose autopay day fell on a public holiday between July 1 and 2 (inclusive) will receive advance payment on June 30, a spokesman for the Social Welfare Department said.

     Recipients of Social Security Allowance whose autopay day falls on a public holiday during the same period will get their payments on either June 30 or July 3.

     In case of doubt, recipients are advised to contact their respective social security field units.
