The Clinical Psychology Units serve clients with emotional or behavioural problems. The problem areas served include marriage family relationships, child-management, behaviour of adolescents, minor transgression of the law, child abuse, reactions to trauma and tragedies, and other adjustment problems. The Central Psychological Support Service (Adult and Preschool teams) provide professional support to rehabilitation service units of both Social Welfare Department and non-governmental organizations in the rehabilitation of people with mental/physical handicaps.

• Clinical Psychology Unit 1 serves the Kowloon East region and the Kowloon City, To Kwa Wan and Hung Hom districts.
  
• Clinical Psychology Unit 2 serves the New Territories East region which covers Shatin, Tai Po, Northern District and Yuen Long.
  
• Clinical Psychology Unit 3 serves the Hong Kong region, outlying islands and the Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei and Mongkok districts.
  
• Clinical Psychology Unit 4 serves the New Territories West region which covers Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung, Tsing Yi, Tuen Mun and Shamshuipo.
