Service Description The Family Crisis Support Centre operated by Caritas - Hong Kong, aims at tackling family crisis at an early stage by providing a package of integrated and easily accessible services to assist individuals or families in crisis or distress. The Centre has commenced full operation on 28.3.2002. Services provided include 24-hour hotline service (18288), short-term emergency intervention with overnight accommodation, temporary retreat and other support services. The Centre has established an effective referral network and collaboration with other service organizations and professionals such as the police, hospitals and welfare units, etc. in serving individuals / families in crisis.
Operating Hours The Centre provides round -the-clock service throughout the year and admits cases on a 24-hour basis.
Target Group Target users are individuals and family members in crisis or distress requiring assistance, regardless of age, gender and race.
Application Procedures To call the Crisis Line at 18 288 or Family Help Line at 2343 2255 (press '7') or to approach nearby integrated family service centre / integrated services centre for assistance.
