Services for Street Sleepers
 |
Service Description There are three non-governmental organizations each operating an Integrated Services Team for Street Sleepers. A package of integrated services including counselling, outreaching (including midnight outreaching), group activities, personal care such as bathing, hair-cutting, employment guidance, escorting, emergency fund, emergency shelter/hostel placement, as well as service referrals are provided, with an aim to help them give up street sleeping and re-integrate into the community.
Besides, the Integrated Family Service Centres / Integrated Services Centres of the Social Welfare Department and Non-governmental Organizations also provide counselling, outreaching, financial and accommodation assistance, referral for treatment and other support services to street sleepers.

Target Group and Application Procedures Street sleepers can approach the Integrated Services Team for Street Sleepers and the nearest integrated family service centre/ integrated services centre.
