Training and Activity Centre for Ex-mentally Ill Persons (TAC)
Service Description
It provides training to improve the social adjustment capabilities of ex-mentally ill persons, help them develop their social and vocational skills to the fullest extent, and prevent relapse and hospitalization. The attached social club provides a venue for them to participate in social and group activities, utilise their leisure meaningfully, and develop their interpersonal skills.

Ex-mentally ill persons who are: |

aged 15 and above; |
| |
- |
stable in mental state; and |
| |
- |
requiring less drug supervision; and |
| |
- |
without infectious disease or drug / alcohol abuse |
| |

Social Club |
| |
Ex-mentally ill persons who are: |
| |
- |
aged 15 and above; and |
| |
- |
engaged in some form of day training such as job training or employment. |
Application Procedures
Referrals must be made direct to respective centres by doctors, social workers or allied health workers.
Fees and Charges
The membership fee is $21 per annum.
