Youth is a time of joy, as we step forward into adulthood. Youth is also a time of bewilderment, as a young person starts facing the complexities and challenges of adulthood. This is especially so in Hong Kong, where our political, economic and social environment is changing so rapidly. Our youth today is constantly bombarded with pressures from various sides, such as family problems, difficulties with school work, peer group influences and temptations from the outside world. Support for young people is therfore much needed for their healthy development. |
