Application Method
 |
Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) rendering school social work service may, with endorsement of the school principals concerned, submit application form (including particulars of the NGO and the school, the arrangement of Tier I Programme and the rationale and content of the Tier II Programme) for each secondary level of each school yearly to implement the project in the schools they are serving. Social Welfare Department will assist in vetting the application with the guidance and advice of the Research Team. During the vetting process, the applicant NGO and the school will be invited to nominate teachers or social workers to join the training workshops. In the course of vetting, the NGO's contact person may be requested to clarify details in the application or to enhance the proposal to meet the minimum requirement for approval. Upon the completion of the vetting process, the applicant NGOs and schools will be informed about the applicaiton result. |

In principal, the grant which is for the implementation of the whole project will be released to NGOs rendering school social work service. However, schools and their serving NGOs may apply to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to change the practice. Depending on the need and arrangement between schools and their serving NGOs, the grant may go directly to schools, or both schools and their serving NGOs).
