Licensing Office of Residential Care Homes for Persons with Disabilities
Introduction
Licensing Office of Residential Care Homes for Persons with Disabilities (LORCHD) is responsible for the licensing matters for residential care homes for persons with disabilities (RCHDs) in accordance with the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Ordinance (Chapter 613, Laws of Hong Kong). LORCHD is responsible to ensure that the RCHDs comply with legal requirements with a view to providing an acceptable standard of services for the residents in respect of their physical, emotional and social aspects.

Licence application / licence renewal application for Residential Care Home for the Persons with Disabilities
1. Applicable to licence application made before 16 June 2024, and the new / renewed licence is in force before that date
Written / Electronic Submission
Apart from submitting written application, members of the public may submit e-application via the Online Platform for Residential Care Homes for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities (Online Platform) and upload relevant supporting document(s) to LORCHD.
