You can submit your overseas academic qualification to the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation for assessment. For enquiries, please phone 2801 7480. |

Whether to grant Incremental Credit for Experience to new appointees depends on the need of each recruitment exercise. Please note the remarks in the advertisements if any. |

What can I do if I am not satisfied with the services of the Department? |

You can write to the Director of Social Welfare or the relevant District Social Welfare Officer. Or you can email us at swdenq@swd.gov.hk. To facilitate our investigation and follow up action, please provide detailed information such as the name of the concerned office/staff, date and time, etc. Your name and contact telephone or address are also needed. All complaints will be dealt with impartially and expeditiously. |

On policy matters, you can write to or email our respective service branches. On direct services, you can contact our district offices or call our hotline 2343 2255. |

What can I do if I am not satisfied with the services offered by the subvented non-governmental organizations? |

You can lodge your complaint directly to the Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the concerned non-governmental organizations. If you are still not satisfied with the result of the investigation, you may write to the Department giving the details, including your name, address, telephone number for our follow up. In order to have a fair investigation, the Department will not handle anonymous complaints or complaints known to the aggrieved complainants for 2 years or over. |
