Sharing of Completed Information Technology (IT) Related Business Improvement Projects (BIP)

Since the launch of the BIP Scheme in 2001, a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have initiated various IT projects to facilitate corporate management and delivery of services with higher quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Some of the IT projects have been completed. Those NGOs have kindly agreed to share their experience and knowledge on IT project implementation as well as the features of their IT systems with other NGOs as encouraged in the IT Strategy for the Social Welfare Sector.     SWD has formulated an IT strategy for the social welfare sector, and has consulted the Social Welfare Advisory Committee and the LegCo Panel on Welfare Services about the strategy. The IT strategy paper presented to the LegCo Panel on Welfare Services can be downloaded here.
