			August 2008		'Free Ferry Rides to Three Outlying Islands' Scheme
					To maintain the continuing development of tourism and economic activities on Peng Chau, Lantau Island (Mui Wo) and Lamma Island (Yung shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan), the Government launches a one-off HK$2 million "Free Ferry Rides to Three Outlying Islands" Scheme from 19 August 2008. 			January 2008		The Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged (PFD)
					The Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged (PFD) was set up in 2005, to provide various kinds of welfare services to disadvantaged persons through tripartite relationship among the Government, business and welfare sectors. The Government will provide matching grants to donations made by business organisations to support non-governmental organisations (NGOs) promoting social welfare projects. Applications for the 4th Round Allocation of the Fund are now invited. The closing date of the application will be 30.6.2008.
