Target Group and Service Boundary

The Clinical Psychology Units serve clients with emotional or behavioural problems. The problem areas served include marriage family relationships, child-management, behaviour of adolescents, minor transgression of the law, child abuse, reactions to trauma and tragedies, and other adjustment problems. The Central Psychological Support Service (Adult and Preschool teams) provide professional support to rehabilitation service units of both Social Welfare Department and non-governmental organizations in the rehabilitation of people with mental/physical handicaps.

  • Clinical Psychology Unit 1 serves Wong Tai Sin and Sai Kung District;  Kwun Tong District, Kowloon City and Yau Tsim Mong District.
  • Clinical Psychology Unit 2 serves Tai Po and North District; Shatin District.
  • Clinical Psychology Unit 3 serves Central Western, Southern and Island District; Eastern and Wanchai District.
  • Clinical Psychology Unit 4 serves Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing District ; Sham Shui Po District.
  • Clinical Psychology Unit 5 serves Tuen Mun District; Yuen Long District.
