Care and Attention Home for Severely Disabled Persons
Service Description
It provides home living for severely mentally handicapped or severely physically handicapped persons who are in need of nursing and intensive personal care.

Eligibility for the Service
Severely mentally handicapped or severely physically handicapped persons who are: |

aged 15 or above; |
|
|
unfit for day training placement; |
|
|
in need of intensive personal care, such as assistance in dressing, toileting and meals; and |
| |
not being bed-ridden or requiring substantial medical/nursing care. |
Application Procedures
Referrals can be made by social workers to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department.

$1,605 per month for 50% disabled adults |
|
|
$1,813 per month for 100% disabled adults / Disability Allowance recipients |
