Integrated Vocational Training Centre - Residential Service

Service Description
IVTCs aim to provide people with disabilities comprehensive vocational training and rehabilitation services to equip them for their advancement to open employment, develop their social and economic potential, and enable them to integrate into the community. There are two IVTCs, namely, Caritas Lok Mo IVTC (previously known as Caritas Lok Mo Skills Centre) and Hong Chi Pinehill IVTC (previously known as Hong Chi Pinehill Advanced Training Centre). Hong Chi Pinehill IVTC also provides residential service.

Eligibility for the Service
To be eligible for an IVTC residential place, an applicant should be:
* people with disabilities aged 15 or above with a need of vocational training and sheltered employment services;
* capable of self-care;
* mentally and emotionally stable with no active infectious disease and severe distributing behavious;
* enrolled to Hong Chi Pinehill Integrated Vocational Training Centre (day service); and
* physically and mentally suitable for group living.

Application Procedures
Referrals can be made by social workers and staff of rehabilitation service units, directly to this Hong Chi Pinehill Integrated Vocational Training Centre. Applicants can also approach this IVTC for direct application.

Fees and Charges
Boarding Fee is from $750 (5 days residence a week) to $1050 (7 Days residence a week) monthly.
