Support for Self-reliance Scheme Support for Self-reliance (SFS) Scheme
The SFS Scheme aims at encouraging and assisting CSSA able-bodied unemployed recipients and recipients who are not working full-time to secure full-time paid employment and move towards self-reliance.

1. The Active Employment Assistance Programme
- through the provision of personalised employment assistance service to empower participant to overcome work barriers, enhance employability and find a paid job.

2. The Community Work Programme
- through the arrangement of unpaid community work to help the participant build up self-esteem and work habit, and prepare for rejoining the workforce in future.
|

3. Disregarded Earnings
- through the provision of an incentive, by disregarding part of their income, to encourage recipients to continue working.
