What's New

 

The application forms for implementing P.A.T.H.S. in the 2008/09 school year are uploaded in this website.  For details, please refer to 'Application Method'. 

Evaluation findings of P.A.T.H.S. showed positive effect of the Project. For details, please refer to the message attached below and the Research Team's website at http://www.paths.hk (downloads).

In 2007/08 School Year, a total of 230 schools are participating in P.A.T.H.S.  For the full list of participating schools, please refer to 'Application Result'.

The 'Symposium on Positive Youth Development and Prevention Programs in Adolescence: International and Chinese Experiences' cum 'Briefing Session on P.A.T.H.S.' were completed on 2 November 2007. Powerpoint of the Briefing Session are now available, please visit 'Briefing and Sharing Sessions' for download.

English version of the S.1 teaching manuals for the Tier I programme is now available. Translation work of the S.2 and S.3 teaching manuals is in progress.  For further information, please refer to Research Team's website at http://www.paths.hk.

Two additional training programmes organised by the Research Team: 'Handling Behavioural and Emotional Problems in Students' and 'Promoting Personal Development and Psychological Well-Being in Teaching Professionals' for the 2007/08 school year will be available for registration soon. For details, please refer to 'Training' and the 'Research Team's website' at http://www.paths.hk.

At the end of each School Year, applicant NGOs have to submit (i) Claim Form; (ii) Income and Expenditure Statement of each secondary level of each participating school and (iii) Evaluation Report to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.  A copy of the Income and Expenditure Statement should be provided to the school principal concerned and his/her countersignature is not required.  For further information, please refer to 'Funding Procedures and Forms' or 'Frequently Asked Questions' .

Worksheets of the curriculum manuals in WORD format are now available.  The files are uploaded onto the website of the Research Team at http://www.paths.hk.

To facilitate NGO applicants to apply for modifications of the submitted proposals, a 'Supplementary Application Form - Change of proposal content'' has been introduced.  The form can be downloaded from 'Application Method and Forms'.

To relief increased administrative costs of the non-governmental organizations, an additional grant of HK$5,000 per year per school will be allocated to the selected experimental and control schools by the Research Team.  For further information, please refer to 'Frequently Asked Questions' .
