Introduction
- The Working Group on Combating Violence (WGCV) which is chaired by the Director of Social Welfare and comprises representatives from various government departments, Hospital Authority and non-governmental organizations, is responsible for mapping out strategies and approaches to address the problem of spouse / cohabitant battering and sexual violence. With the support of the WGCV, the Social Welfare Department has developed this website on services for victims (irrespective of their gender, race or sexual orientation) of child abuse, spouse / cohabitant battering and sexual violence in Hong Kong to facilitate access to relevant information by concerned departments, agencies and individuals.
