Departmental Information Technology Plan

Following the Departmental Information Technology Plan (DITP) formulated in 2019, SWD completed two information technology (IT) projects while 23 IT projects were in progress during the period from April 2020 and March 2021 for enhancing service delivery and IT security, etc.

Information Technology Strategy for the Social Welfare Sector

To take forward strategies and recommendations in the 2021 Final Report on the Review of the Information Technology Strategy for the Social Welfare Sector in Hong Kong, SWD formed a Task Group including experts and professionals from the information technology (IT) fields, academia and NGOs, as well as members of the Joint Committee on Information Technology for the Social Welfare Sector to devise action plans for future IT development in the social welfare sector.
