Highlights of The Year 2024-25

SWD Staff Volunteer Service

Project "Angels' Act"

Regularly visited and arranged activities for DSW wards under out-of-home care. As at the end of March 2025, 117 volunteers, including SWD staff members and their families, had provided services to 50 DSW wards.

Recreation Club Activities

The SWD Recreation Club comprises seven interest groups, including the SWD Choir, Line Dance Group, Basketball Team, Football Team, Dragon Boat Team, Running Team and Badminton Team. Key events in 2024-25 included the “Connecting Hearts” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Social Work Run, Social Work Agency Basketball Tournament, Sai Kung District Dragon Boat Race, Hong Kong Social Workers’ General Union’s Football Competition, Oxfam Trailwalker, and Hong Kong Badminton Doubles League.
