Overview

• As at 31 March 2021, SWD had a workforce of 6266 staff, of which 4836 in 33 grades were staff of departmental/common grades (including 2440 in the social work stream and 1830 in the social security stream).

• Underpinned by the Grade Management Section and the Staff Development and Training Section, the HRM Branch is tasked to map out the overall strategy for HRM development and oversee the formulation and implementation of HRM plans and initiatives.
