The Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged (the PFD), since its set up in 2005, has exemplified the proliferation of cross-sectoral partnership in helping the disadvantaged. Adopting the theme of “In partnership we build a caring community”, the Social Welfare Department (SWD) organised the “Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged - Project Sharing cum Award Presentation Ceremony” (the ceremony) on 3 November 2016. The ceremony aimed to commend the joint efforts and contributions of organisations including business partners, non-governmental welfare organisations (welfare NGOs) and schools participating in the PFD, and to encourage further collaboration in fostering a cohesive, inclusive and caring society.
