Highlights of the Year 2024-25

Territory-wide Publicity Campaign “Care the Carers Campaign”
The three-year territory-wide publicity campaign “Care the Carers Campaign” was launched in 2023-24. In support of the 2024-25 theme, “Walk with Carers”, a short video competition was held, attracting over 180 entries from individuals, schools, and organisations. An award presentation ceremony was held on 28 November 2024. The “Walk with Carers at Palace Museum" event took place on the same day, with around 400 elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and carers participating.
Opportunities for the Elderly Project
The Project subsidised social service organisations, district organisations and educational institutions and others to organise a wide range of programmes aimed at promoting a sense of self-worth among elderly persons in the community. In 2024-25, a total of 393 programmes were carried out by various organisations, attracting over 77 000 elderly participants.
