Publicity Campaign on Strengthening Families and Combating Violence
Under the theme of “Love guards the family．Protecting children begins with the family”, the publicity campaign continued to promote the message of child protection and encourage those in need to seek early assistance so as to avoid resorting to violence against family members.
In collaboration with the Commission on Children, Hong Kong Police Force and NGOs, promotional and education programmes were organised to deepen the publicity effect and raise the public awareness on child protection and prevention of domestic violence.
The 11 District Social Welfare Offices had run 2 022 public education programmes and activities, accounting for 51 522 attendance.
