Hotline Service for Youth at Risk

Service Description

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups operates the Hotline Service for Youth at Risk under the subvention of Social Welfare Department. The hotline service is to provide timely support and professional guidance for children and youth facing developmental crises through telephone contact.

Hotline service for youth at risk provides the following services to the callers:

• professional guidance and counselling through the hotline;
• face-to-face counselling to callers requiring immediate intervention;
• referrals to other appropriate services having regard to the needs of callers; and
• supportive or preventive groups/ programmes to address common problems identified from callers.

Target Group

Children and youth aged from 6 to 24.

Operating Hours

Between 2:00pm to 2:00am from Monday to Saturday.
