Back-up Shelter Service for Young Night Drifters
Service Description
The Social Welfare Department provides subvention to non-governmental organisation to operate back-up shelter service to Young Night Drifters (YNDs).
Service Target
- Boys between the age of 11 and 18 (referred by the Integrated Children and Youth Services Centres, Outreaching Service for YNDs or other welfare units serving YNDs)
Service Scope
- To provide protection and temporary residential service for YNDs (the period of stay usually not more than 7 days)
