If members of the public wish to inspect the information which is available for inspection on request, they may call the Access to Information Office of the Department (Tel: 2892 5619) to obtain the name and address of the service unit which is holding such information. Instead of inspecting the information in person, members of the public can also choose to obtain a copy after paying the photocopying charge.

Many of the pamphlets and information notes which are for distribution free of charge can be obtained at the 11 District Social Welfare Offices, various Integrated Family Service Centres and other offices of the Department located throughout Hong Kong.

Information pamphlets on social security schemes are available free of charge at all the Social Security Field Units.
