Highlights of the Year 2023-24

17 rounds of Regular Portion Applications and 10 rounds of Dedicated Portion Applications under the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged have been launched. For the Regular Portion, matching grants of about $590 million were allocated to 230 welfare NGOs as at 31 March 2024 to carry out 1 174 welfare projects sponsored by more than 1 850 business partners, benefiting around 1 013 000 disadvantaged persons. Regarding the Dedicated Portion, about $342 million in matching grants were allocated to 66 welfare NGOs and 97 schools as at 31 March 2024 to carry out 557 after-school learning and support projects for primary and secondary students from grassroots families. These projects involved nearly 500 business partners and benefited around 131 000 students.
