Highlights of the Year 2022-23

Since March 2005, 16 rounds of Regular Portion Applications and 9 rounds of Dedicated Portion Applications under the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged have been launched. For the Regular Portion, matching grants of about $558 million were allocated to 221 welfare non-governmental organisations (NGOs) as at 31 March 2023 to carry out 1 126 welfare projects sponsored by more than 1 800 business partners, benefitting more than 1 million disadvantaged persons. Regarding the Dedicated Portion, about $300 million in matching grants were allocated to 62 welfare NGOs and 95 schools as at 31 March 2023 to carry out 456 after-school learning and support projects for primary and secondary students from grassroots families. These projects involved over 450 business partners and benefited more than 130 000 students.
