 Highlights of the Year 2021-22

  • Grade Management aspires to develop a focused, systematic and integrated approach for the management of various grades in terms of manpower planning, career development and training, recruitment, posting, performance management and promotion.
  • Performance management is an integral part of a HRM strategy.  SWD updated the guidelines on good practices in performance management and completion of performance appraisals in December 2019 to establish a comprehensive, fair, accurate and timely performance appraisal system.  Besides, SWD has established Assessment Panels for the ranks of Social Work Officer and Assistant Social Work Officer since 2016 to undertake levelling and moderating work among appraisal reports and see to the consistency in assessment standards in different work settings of the same rank.
