Statistics on child abuse, spouse / cohabitant battering and sexual violence cases
Statistics on cases involving child abuse, spouse/cohabitant battering and sexual violence are captured by the Child Protection Registry (CPR) and the Central Information System on Spouse/Cohabitant Battering Cases and Sexual Violence Cases (CISSCBSV) respectively. The number of newly reported child abuse, spouse/cohabitant battering and sexual violence cases (from Jaunary to March 2019) is reported below :

**Since July 2018, the figures of newly reported child abuse cases have been captured by new Data Input Form. Hence, some items [i.e. family friend / parent of peer, staff of boarding section of school, religious personnel, schoolmate / friend / peer, Inmate of residential service] of the newly reported cases in 2018 is not comparable with the figure of the same period in previous year.
