Handbook for Parents

'Divorce', 'Separation', these are tough decisions made by the parents and often lead to significant changes in one's life. In order to facilitate the separated/divorced parents to adjust to their new lives and to have a better understanding of the importance of parental responsibilities in raising their children, a series of 3 booklets is produced for parents' reference.

Parents' handbook 1 focuses on the effects of separation/divorce on the parents, how to cope with the emotional scars, and how to accept and adapt to this change. Besides, parents should understand and care about the children's needs and at the same time try their best to facilitate their children to overcome the psychological changes arising from the parents' separation/divorce.

Parents' handbook 2 gives an overview of the possible communication obstacles that separated/divorced parents might face when arranging visitation and day-to-day routine for the children. It also suggests ways to resolve conflicts, solve the problems and grab the key for effective parental communication for the healthy development of their children after parental separation/divorce.

Parents' handbook 3 highlights the importance of co-parenting, and provides separated/divorced parents with tips on how to formulate parenting plans for their children. It also has a dedicated session to parents who do not live with the children, to help them maintain and improve the relationship with their children.
