SWD’s Family and Child Protective Services Units (FCPSUs)


  • 11 FCPSUs over the territory
  • To prepare social investigation reports on child custody / guardianship matters as ordered by court
  • To arrange supervised access for the child to meet the non-residing parent as instructed by court
  • Counselling, programmes/groups and assistance to families and children affected by custody/guardianship disputes
  • Psycho-educational programme for separated/divorced parents on emotion and conflict management, understanding the impact of parental separation/divorce on children and effective communication between separated/divorced parents in co-parenting
  • Free of charge

  • 65 IFSCs and 2 ISCs over the territory
  • Support services for couples and their children in facing marital problems/divorce including counselling, programmes/ groups on emotion management and parenting skills
  • Psycho-educational programme for separated/divorced parents on emotion and conflict management, understanding the impact of parental separation/divorce on children and effective communication between separated/divorced parents in co-parenting
