"Dementia Friends" Information Session at the HKU Graduate House - Wang Gungwu Lecture Hall
The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr. LAW Chi-kwong, GBS, JP attended the "Dementia Friends" Information Session. The Director of Social Welfare Department, Ms Carol YIP, JP attended the "Dementia Friends" Information Session. The Chairman of the Elderly Commission, Dr. LAM Ching-choi, BBS, JP attended the "Dementia Friends" Information Session. Dr. LEONG Che-hung, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP attended the "Dementia Friends" Information Session. The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr. LAW Chi-kwong, GBS, JP delivered the welcoming speech at "Dementia Friends" Information Session. The Chairman of Hong Kong Alzheimers Disease Association, Dr. DAI Lok Kwan was sharing the pathology of dementia. The Executive Director of Hong Kong Alzheimers Disease Association, Ms. Maggie LEE was introducing "Forget-me-not" as the logo of "Dementia Friends". All the guests actively participated in the activities. The Chairman of the Elderly Commission, Dr. LAM Ching-choi, BBS, JP, was answering question. The participant jotted notes seriously. The Director of Social Welfare Department, Ms Carol YIP, JP encouraged participants to help people with dementia. After attending the "Dementia Friends" Information Session on 15 December 2018, participants got the "Dementia Friends" wristband.

"Dementia Friends" Information Session (Shatin) was conducted at HKFYG Jockey Club Jat Min Youth S.P.O.T on 12 December 2018.
Participants of "Dementia Friends" Information Session (Shatin) took group photo on 12 December 2018. After attending the "Dementia Friends" Information Session on 12 December 2018 in Shatin District, participants got the "Dementia Friends" wristband. Collaborated with The Chinese Rhenish Church Hong Kong Synod Wong Siu Ching Rhenish Home For The Elderly, District Social Welfare Office (Shatin) produced USB sticks stored with a microcinema about dementia and distributed to service units of Shatin district to promote the Campaign.

24 October 2018 - "Dementia Friends" Information Session of Tuen Mun District

The first session of "Dementia Friends" Information Session was held at Caritas Community Centre – Tsuen Wan on 20 September 2018. Participants were attending the "Dementia Friends" Information Session (Tsuen Wan/Kwai Tsing). Upon completion of the "Dementia Friends" Information Session, participants registered as "Dementia Friends" to actively support the Campaign. In the "Dementia Friends" Information Session (Tsuen Wan/Kwai Tsing), one of the participants was raising hand to answer question from the speaker.
