Opportunities for the Elderly Project

Introduction

Through subsidising various social service organisations, district organisations, and educational institutes, etc., to carry out a wide range of programmes, the 'Opportunities for the Elderly Project' (OEP) has been providing various opportunities for the elderly persons to unleash their potentials, further their contribution to society and cultivate a sense of self-worthiness.  OEP consists of 1-year and 2-year project applications.

Theme

The theme for 2026-28 is "Harnessing Silver Wisdom, Co-creating a Legacy of Vitality”.  The elderly are encouraged to share their wisdom and experience, engage in intergenerational collaboration and exchange to jointly unleash potential, pursue innovation, and contribute to society, creating a vibrant and meaningful legacy of achievements together.
